My family had the absolute best time making ramen noodles! It was an easy and fun experience that my husband and I and our kids (15, 12 and 7) all loved doing. Everyone was so kind and patient with our family and enjoying ramen in the restaurant afterwards was quite a treat - plus having the restaurant's owner as part of the experience was extra special -- he even was willing to share his story of starting businesses with my 12 year old (including answering lots of questions! :)). Highly recommend this experience!

My host Hibi was really amazing and I have had a great time around the area of Kichijoji, which is really worth a visit. Hibi was not only very familiar with the neighbourhood (and she is also known by many people in the neighbourhood) but also impressed me with her knowledge. I highly recommend this tour, even if you haven't been to Shibuya or Shinjuku yet: Tokyo has so much to offer: A detour to less popular parts of the city, but no less exciting for that, is definitely worthwhile.
