Loved our tasting menu and five Saki drinks. It was a fabulous experience.
Staff and chef were great, describing and assisting on how to eat the dishes.
We had so many unique bites.
We enjoyed and would highly recommend if in the area or nearby town.
Best overall meal start to finish that we enjoyed in Asia.

What a FUN concept! If you're planning on jumping on a sightseeing bus while in Tokyo anyway, why not enjoy it with some great sushi along the ride. I was extremely impressed by how they made this work. The sushi was made fresh downstairs and then delivered on a surprisingly secure conveyor belt along the perimeter of the bus (no flying fish!). The bus was driving relatively slow throughout Tokyo traffic and although I was sitting backwards I didn't experience any motion sickness which I normally would. The open air, beautiful sights and delicious sushi definitely helped!
To top it off, the staff were welcoming and extremely enthusiastic which added another level of charm to the the whole experience. I highly recommend it especially for first-time visitors to Japan.

I had a great time on the Sushi Bus and would recommend it to both visitors and people who already know Tokyo well. The experience starts near Tokyo Station. When the weather allows, the second-floor roof opens completely, offering fresh air and a wonderful sense of openness. The bright red bus looks like a giant tuna driving through Tokyo, attracting plenty of attention. People on the street took photos and waved at us as the sushi started coming around. There are around 15 kinds of sushi. What surprised me most was the quality. I expected the novelty of eating sushi on a bus to be the main attraction, but the sushi itself was genuinely delicious. The route heads toward Asakusa, passing Kaminarimon, Tokyo Skytree, and the Asahi Beer headquarters. Even though I had seen these places before, the view from the upper deck, with sushi going around beside me, made Tokyo feel completely different. After 30 to 40 minutes, I had tried most of the sushi and was already quite full, leaving plenty of time to relax and enjoy the scenery. The full ride lasts around 70 minutes, which felt just right. I am over six feet tall, but there was plenty of headroom, and the bus was much more comfortable than expected. Riding through Tokyo on a bright red bus while enjoying conveyor-belt sushi may sound unusual at first, but it works surprisingly well. It was a fun, comfortable, and memorable way to experience Tokyo.

First time ever experiencing sushi on a bus! This is definitely for anyone looking to explore a new way into what Tokyo has to offer. You get to sightsee Tokyo’s beautiful iconic locations while enjoying fresh sushi served right by you on a conveyor belt! The energy is lively, and the staff are incredibly welcoming from start to finish. The sushi is all-you-can-eat, with a drink included, all while the change of scenery complements your dining experience. It was truly refreshing!

I joined this experience on a beautiful autumn afternoon with a refreshing breeze. The route that day took us past Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree.
The meeting point at Kajibashi Parking Lot was easy to find and conveniently located just a short walk from Tokyo Station. As soon as we boarded the bus, the cheerful staff welcomed us in Japanese, which made the experience even more exciting!
The open roof offered fantastic views and made it easy to take great photos along the way. The sushi was excellent quality, too, with generous portions of fresh toppings.
When we passed in front of Kaminarimon Gate in Asakusa, we attracted lots of attention from tourists, and many people were taking photos of the bus. It was such a fun and unique experience!
The 70-minute ride was just the right length to enjoy a satisfying sushi meal while taking in the scenery and chatting along the way.
I can’t wait to tell my friends about this experience and show off the fact that I got to ride this special Sushi Bus!

This was, by far, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. As a true sushi and omakase fan, I make it a point to try various venues in both the US and Japan.
The pacing of the dinner was perfect and each course was beautiful in its presentation. I was dining solo and it was clear to see the rapport that the chef had with the other seven people in attendance.
I would definitely return to Nakatani on my next trip to Osaka. It's small, quaint, and truly an experience to watch the chef work.

Shinjuku Gyoenmae Sushi Lab was a great dinner! My wife and I went to celebrate my birthday and it was the best dinner of our trip. The food was top notch especially the cherry smoked dish. The service was fantastic. Our server explained every dish and made sure that every need was met. Next time we are in the Shinjuku area we will be sure to be back!

An Unforgettable Sushi Experience in Tokyo!
I visited Okuakasaka Sushi Tanji with two friends, and it was easily one of our favorite dining experiences in Japan. The minimalist interior creates a peaceful and elegant atmosphere from the moment you walk in.
Every dish felt refined and carefully prepared. Each piece of sushi had a wonderful balance of umami, sweetness, and saltiness. The aged fish was buttery and tender, pairing beautifully with the warm, seasoned sushi rice. The aged tuna nigiri was a highlight, as was the straw-grilled smoked fish with its wonderful aroma. The beautiful Japanese ceramics also made every course a pleasure to look at.
The chefs and staff were warm and welcoming and spoke excellent English, making the experience very comfortable for international guests. The intimate hinoki cypress counter also added to the special atmosphere.
One of the best surprises came at the end. We were led into a hidden traditional tatami tea room, where the chef prepared fresh matcha served with a seasonal wagashi sweet. It was a peaceful and memorable way to finish the evening.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special omakase experience in Tokyo!
