Gyoza Cooking Classes(18)

We thoroughly enjoyed the ramen and gyoza making experience. Trainer Saeko took us through each step of the making in detail and explain the types and usage of the ingredients. The recipe is easy to replicate at home yet taste like great. I'm so glad I signed up on this class as the focus is on making the soup broth and char siew meat from scratch rather than on the ramen noodles. Strongly recommended.

I was unfortunately alone for the whole experience. I say unfortunately because Tomoko san is a great host, the food was AMAZING and the afternoon was memorable. She made me taste her homemade plum wine, some pickled cucumbers from her garden and so much more. She makes so much by hand. She de day was full of surprises and I heard about the Japanese hospitality but she went beyond that. I would say it was home away from home but I think I will miss that place when I get back home. It’s a very cozy time in her house. Would 100% recommend

This class was a good experience. Kaori was so helpful and able to answer all my questions, and I had a lot of fun chatting with her! The ramen and gyoza was delicious as well, I can't wait to take what I've learnt and try it again back home!

It was a fantastic experience that we will remember forever. We were a family of 8 people, aged 23 to 82 years. The atmosphere in Yoshi's kitchen was super cozy, and the facilities were really good, 100% clean, and the hygiene was perfect. There was space for everyone to cook. We made fresh noodles, dumplings with pork, boiled eggs, and made an amazing ramen soup, which we ate together, all within 2 hours. Everyone can participate here, no stress, no requirements for cooking skills. It tasted fantastic. The hosts speak good English, and you can tell they have done this many times. Everything was perfect. I had many technical questions about the preparation of broth and chicken breast - and the chef was happy to answer everything. So if you want a lot of details, that's also possible. Overall, 5 stars - everything was perfect.

I chose this activity because I love learning about new food menu's and wanted to understand Japanese cooking more. Kaori was an absolutely amazing chef and host. My husband and I could not be more thrilled about our time spent at Kaori's house. The food we prepared was so incredibly delicious! We can hardly wait to make this at home. Thank you both for the wonderful company and day spent in Tokyo. We will never forget it. Liz and Steve Moore
