Escape the bustle of Osaka with world-class hotel cuisine inspired by the traditions and poetry of the Tale of Genji.

Restaurant Details

Inspired by the “floating bridge of dreams”, the last chapter in the Tale of Genji, Ukihashi in the Hotel Granvia Osaka transports diners back in time, into a culinary paradise far removed from the bustling station outside.

A number of course menus are available at lunch and dinner, with special plans for parties and groups. Ukihashi’s private rooms can seat upwards of 20 guests, each one featuring hand-painted shells with scenes from the epic poem, immersing guests in an otherworldly experience.

Its stylish decor aside, Ukihashi also takes pride in its local seasonal ingredients and ever-changing courses. The ingredients used include “Osakamon” foods sourced and produced in local farms and ranches, including Naniwa Kuroushi kuroge wagyu black beef, vegetables from local farmers, and seafood fresh from Osaka Bay.

Every meal at Ukihashi is a feast for all five senses: guests can relish in the refined dining space, savor the fragrance of grilling wagyu, and delight in the exquisite texture of fresh seafood and crisp produce.
