Yoshizushi
Michelin-starred sushi in Hiroshima, with some luxurious twists on classic dishes.
Restaurant Details
This top Michelin-starred sushi restaurant is right smack in the middle of Hiroshima, walking distance from the famous Peace Dome and Hiroshima Castle. The sushi meal on offer is a high-class feast of premium seafood appetizers and nigiri. The dishes are on the smaller side, allowing you to handle a larger number without feeling too full.
You’ll find some creative touches which break from orthodoxy at this sushi counter — the house speciality is saltwater eel with truffle salt! Aside from the standard nigiri, there are also some steamed sushi varieties on the set-course omakase menu.
It’s the little touches which make a sushi restaurant truly memorable, and Yoshizushi is full of these idiosyncratic additions, such as the tamagoyaki egg — stuffed with sushi rice instead of laying atop it.
For premium, Michelin-starred sushi dining in Hiroshima, you really can’t go wrong with Yoshizushi.
