The omakase experience at Namba Sushi Kyu was excellent. The four of us enjoyed the fresh sushi and all the non sushi dishes, in total, over 15 courses. Although his English was limited, the chef was still able to explain each dish using a translator app on his cell phone or pointing to the type of fish he was serving us on a paper listing the names of the various fishes. We will definitely go back when we are back in Osaka in the future and highly recommend Namba Sushi Kyu if you are looking for an incredible omakase experience with great food and service

Great service for foreigners

We had a fantastic dinner here! The sushi chef explained each course so we knew what we were eating. Everything was delicious! The restaurant is clean and quiet. We would definitely recommend!

You have to think about this as more of an experience than a meal if you are not used to the cuisine. As an experience this was AMAZING. As a meal, there were definitely aspects that were not as enjoyable. Namely, the fast pace and the taste of some of the dishes. If you are not an adventurous eater or do not enjoy Japanese cuisine this might not be for you. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience for us given the scenery, the traditional style of eating, and the chance to try dishes we normally would not have.

An incredible experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and kind! I ate fish I didn't even know existed! Everything was accompanied by an incredible tea tasting. Highly recommended!

Oishii - our first omakase experience and we loved it. What an amazing dining experience, would highly recommend anyone visiting Tokyo. Loved the chef’s creativity and craftsmanship with each item.

Wow, simply fantastic. Top notch service, amazing food, very friendly, explained each dish which was great as we are sushi beginners. Chef was engaging and the lady serving the drinks was a real character. Thank you guys for a great evening.
