The word “enoteca” is Italian for “wine shop,” so expect a great range which benefits from the connections of the native Italian owner — one of the world’s top wine collectors. Another benefit of this international connection is that ENOTECA PINCHIORRI can import premium Italian ingredients which can’t be found in Japan, the same as used in the original restaurant. Up on the 42nd floor with an amazing view of the city of Nagoya, the chefs here serve up outstanding dishes which mirror the top-tier haute cuisine of the three Michelin starred parent restaurant. The mix of Italian and local produce which goes into these outstanding pasta, meat, and seafood dishes includes scallops, squid, rabbit, wax gourd, hairy crab, summer truffles, wagyu beef, and porcini mushrooms.
