L’Auberge de l’ill Nagoya
L’Auberge de l’ill Nagoya
Classic French haute cuisine 42 stories above Nagoya Station, with fantastic meat and fish dishes.
Restaurant Details
Up on the 42nd floor of Nagoya’s Midland Square building, right by the central station, l'Auberge de l'ill Nagoya is a branch of the world-renowned 2-Michelin star restaurant in the French region of Alsace. The Nagoya outlet has been in operation since 2007, and follows the philosophy of local production for local consumption.
This means that ingredients from the Tokai region of Japan take center stage in their classic French menu. It features decadent main dishes with flavorful meat, seafood, and sauces in abundance. Complex constructions are also featured heavily, such as sweet bream poiré with potato scales, choux root, and caviar sauce.
The dining space makes full use of the elevation, with floor to ceiling windows across one wall offering a fantastic view of the city. A fully-stocked wine cellar completes the experience at one of Nagoya’s classiest, most consistent, and authentic Michelin-starred French restaurants.
