Sakurajima is one of Japan’s most notable active volcanoes and a stunningly beautiful symbol of Kagoshima Prefecture. Enjoy the area’s best sightseeing spots in this exhilarating electric bicycle tour! Sakurajima is a quick ferry trip from Kagoshima City. Equipped with an electric-powered mountain bike, backpack, and a breathable shirt, zip through the best spots of the mountain in a 38-kilometer ride, stopping at several points for some nice photo opportunities. Midway through the ride, travelers will stop by a local restaurant for delicious set meals featuring Kyushu’s specialty chicken nanban dish, crisp breaded chicken drizzled with tangy-sweet sauce. Reaching the end, relax your tired soles with a well-deserved footbath with a lovely view. After a quick ferry back to Kagoshima City, finish the experience with a delicious bowl of Kagoshima-style ramen, a delicious combination of noodles, eggs, and meat to refuel the tired but accomplished soul!

A full-day tour; meet at Kagoshima Ferry at 10:30 and ends at the ramen shop around 19:00.

If you join the tour from Hakata Station, the start time is 8:00 and the end time is 21:07.

Wear comfortable footwear and gear good for biking

We will leave Sakurajima at 17:30.
