Description
Asombroso's main store can be found by following your nose to the shop selling natural french fries on the streets of Ebetsu city, a historical brick-producing town in Hokkaido. Heavily active before World War II, Ebetsu's brick production still makes up over 20% of the national supply. Thus, Hokkaido Potato "Bricks" were born. These crunchy snacks are tossed in Asombroso's classic smokey seasoning for a savory, beer-friendly bite found nowhere else. Ingredients Potatoes (product of Hokkaido), vegetable oil, salt (product of Setouchi), smoked paprika powder, Antioxidants (Vitamin E, Vitamin C; contains soy)

Asombroso means "wonderful" in Spanish. The founders of Asombroso were inspired to bring the delicious taste of French fries they enjoyed overseas to Japan through "hand-cut fries".
Their fries are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, like a warm baked potato tossed in their signature spice blend.

Asombroso provides delicious vegan and gluten-free baked goods through Misaki bakery. The rice-flour products from Misaki are easy to digest and can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of dietary restrictions.

They collaborate with local contract farmers to uplift local producers and cooperate with sustainable goals like tree planting for carbon offsets. Nakamichi Farm, for example, provides rice flour made of 80% table-grade local Yumepirika rice. This rice locks in the natural sweetness of each grain and provides the gentle sweetness of Misaki's cookies.
