Tomoko-San, Thank you for a wonderful day of cooking. The food was delicious and seasonal, before class, Tomoko-San asked what type of food is my favourite, and we included that in the cooking. Tomoko-San picked me up from the station and showed me a wonderful walk to her home through a beautiful temple. I felt very welcomed into her home. Tomoko-San taught me how to cook delicious food and explained information about the food. Using the new grain rice we created umeboshi using plum and rice to create the Japanese flag. It looked very beautiful. The homemade plum wine was divine. For each of our 5 dishes we made, all the ingredients complemented one another, creating a delicious meal. I had the best time. Everything was carefully prepared in order for the class to run smoothly. I had a lovely time admiring all the wonderful Japanese pottery Tomoko-San uses in her cooking and presentation. I feel very happy to have met Tomoko-San and to have cooked together was lovely. I highly recommend this class. Even if you are not vegan or vegetarian the use of local ingredients and the knowledge of Tomoko-San makes a delicious meal. It was an amazing experience and I look forward to visiting Tomoko-San for another class. :)

I had a fantastic experience at the soba noodles class in Tokyo! The instructor was absolutely lovely—so warm and welcoming and spoke excellent English, which made the whole process easy to follow. Not only did I learn how to make delicious, authentic soba noodles from scratch, I also learnt the culturally correct way to eat them. I highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Tokyo. It was the perfect blend of hands-on learning and fun!

Today was my second time join the cooking class , today we do the japanese style food Otan and Temprua. The Otan soup is so special and delicious. we cook the white radish first, that's the tips for avoiding other ingredients was too hard.Thetemprua tips is the flour shoulde be putted in the refrigerator one night. I am so enjoy the class. and I wouldnt say its a class rather than say it like haave lunch at friends house. so happy and funs.
