FAQ

Known for its seamless blend of traditional Edomae sushi and seasonal vegetables, Sushi Tenkawa is a culinary experience hidden in Ebisu. A welcome break from the bustle of the city, relax and experience premium sushi in a tranquil environment. At the heart of the restaurant's mastery is its selection of fish, sourced at their peak throughout the year. It’s accompanied by silver rice vinegar that accentuates the subtleties of seasonal fish. The result is delicate sushi boasting refined flavors. For connoisseurs seeking nigiri excellence, the omakase course promises a full exploration of Edomae sushi. Additional sushi and specialty dishes are available, as well as a sake pairing. A standout is the flame-grilled tuna, a favorite in every course. Open flame grilling brings out the tuna’s flavor, further enhanced by a proprietary sauce blending five vegetables and fruits. This culinary symphony embodies Sushi Tenkawa's core philosophy, offering a sensory journey celebrating the seasons.

This was my first experience with private omakase dining at Sushi Tenkawa, and it was incredible! The dinner was amazing, and we left feeling completely satisfied. Each piece of sushi tasted exceptionally fresh and delicious. With only five seats in a cozy room, it felt intimate and special. The one-on-one interaction with the chef made it even more memorable, and we communicated easily using English translation on an iPad. We discovered Sushi Tenkawa through byFood, and I highly recommend booki...read more

The chefs are so nice and very friendly! The food is also very good! It's a short walk from the Ebisu station but still very close!
