Experience Details

Always wanted to make homemade ramen noodles from scratch? Now you can! While making ramen noodles from scratch might sound intimidating, with the help of a kind cooking instructor, you’ll be kneading, rolling, and cutting noodles before you know it, with the help of a pasta machine! In addition to making the ramen noodles, you will also make a vegetarian broth and gyoza dumplings in this warm and welcoming atmosphere. Along the way, you’ll learn about the origins of the ingredients, find out about these unique dishes, and explore Japanese food culture! This homemade ramen noodles and vegetarian gyoza cooking class is completely vegetarian. From the ramen noodles to the broth to the toppings, everything is plant-based, including the vegetarian gyoza which is made with soy meat. There are also options for other diets, such as vegan, halal, and kosher, so just let us know! One of the best parts about this class is that you can take home the recipe! Once you know how to make ramen noodles, the possibilities are endless. At home, you can customize your bowl of ramen with various types of broth and toppings, or change up the thickness and texture of the noodles.

The early-morning bustle and the spectacle of seeing whole fish expertly carved right before your eyes, combined with an array of local delicacies, make Tsukiji Market a must-visit in Tokyo. While the Tsukiji Fish Market’s auction was relocated to Toyosu in October 2018, many of Tsukiji Outer Market’s street vendors and restaurants remained. Some shops and restaurants have been in business for over 100 years! And since the seafood sold at Tsukiji Market is delivered directly from Toyosu Fish Market, Tsukiji Market is still one of the best places in Tokyo for fresh seafood.
