This Japanese izakaya gastropub is conveniently located right by Oji Station. It offers a comfortable space, perfect for enjoying some good Japanese drinks, food, and company. They offer over 20 kinds of sake in their all-you-can-drink deal, so if you’ve been looking for a way to get to grips with Japan’s favorite alcohol, this is the place!
The dishes cover a range of hearty izakaya favorites such as beef tendon stew and curry udon. The owner, Hirata-san, is a tofu expert, so expect some nice tofu dishes. A genuine izakaya experience, free of touristy atmosphere and prices, Wasoushutsudokko is a great place to drink and eat like a local.
