They accommodated my pescatarian request beautifully. A wonderful fusion of Latin American and Japanese cuisine, with each dish carefully narrated by the staff, which made the experience even better. The interior is very sophisticated. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a gastronomy or fusion experience in Tokyo.

An unforgettable traditional Japanese dining experience! 🇯🇵❤️
We booked a special traditional Japanese lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it was absolutely wonderful! We had the entire place to ourselves, which made the experience feel even more personal and special.
Everything was beautifully presented, almost like a work of art, and the flavours were simply incredible! The food, the sake, the atmosphere, the attention to detail — everything was perfect.
The sweetest surprise was a traditional Japanese dessert they kindly prepared as a birthday gift for my husband. Such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture!
A truly authentic Japanese experience that we will always remember. Highly recommended! ❤️

I really liked the food. It was a pretty nice course with a lot of different things to try. The small dishes at the beginning were a really nice start. I particularly liked the lotus root with bacon, plum and shiso. Personally, I really like the taste of plum, so it was really tasty for me. I also really liked the presentation with the seasonal autumn leaves. It looked really cute.
The sashimi was fresh and tasty. I also want to mention the yuba because I hadn’t tried it before, and I really liked its texture and taste.
The sushi was another thing I enjoyed. Each piece already had its own flavor, so I liked that you didn’t really need to add any soy sauce or anything else.
I also tried tempura with matcha salt for the first time. I’ve eaten tempura many times before, but never with matcha salt, and I actually really liked this combination. The wagyu was really good too, especially the texture of the meat. I also really enjoyed the noodle soup at the end. The light yuzu flavor was really nice, and since I love yuzu, I personally enjoyed it a lot. I think this kind of warm soup would be especially nice during the colder season.
The staff were really nice and tried to communicate with me even though they don’t really speak English. The restaurant itself is quite with around eight seats, so I think it’s more suitable for not very big groups.

Visited on a Friday @ noon, ordered the "special tempura course 'wakaba'"
Ingredients were a big focus here. With every piece of tempura served, the chef mentioned where it was sourced from and recommended to eat it with either the special salt, oroshi-dashi, or a squeeze of lime. Sitting at the counter allowed me to watch him perform his craft.
Every piece of tempura felt luxurious and had a light crispiness. And the Wakaba course was just right for lunch, although, I did order 3 more shrimp tempura at the end. The Uni (sea urchin) tempura was a creamy heaven in my mouth! I swear he used an entire row of uni just to make the 1 piece of tempura!
I wish I took more pics of each course...
I will definitely return when I'm back in Atami.

What a FUN concept! If you're planning on jumping on a sightseeing bus while in Tokyo anyway, why not enjoy it with some great sushi along the ride. I was extremely impressed by how they made this work. The sushi was made fresh downstairs and then delivered on a surprisingly secure conveyor belt along the perimeter of the bus (no flying fish!). The bus was driving relatively slow throughout Tokyo traffic and although I was sitting backwards I didn't experience any motion sickness which I normally would. The open air, beautiful sights and delicious sushi definitely helped!
To top it off, the staff were welcoming and extremely enthusiastic which added another level of charm to the the whole experience. I highly recommend it especially for first-time visitors to Japan.

How to reserve restaurants in Japan?
You can make a reservation at a restaurant in Japan by direct phone call to the restaurant, or in some cases via direct reservation on their website if available. There also are some online reservation platforms but they are often in Japanese, like the restaurant’s website. To avoid the issue of language barriers and time differences, you can place your reservation through a secure platform that helps foreigners to make online reservations, such as byFood. You can use byFood to add filters and narrow down restaurants in Japan, to match the location and food type you are looking for. All you have to do is head to your desired restaurant page and enter your reservation details. If your reservation is successful, you will receive an email confirmation and have your reservation made on your behalf. In the event that the reservation was not successful, you will receive a failed reservation email notification.
Is a reservation required for restaurants in Japan?
Not all restaurants in Japan require a reservation but there are many that do, so this depends on the restaurant. Popular or high-end restaurants generally require a reservation and tend to be totally booked a few months ahead. Some more casual restaurants, bars, and cafes do not require a booking, however if you are with a big group it can be a good idea. Some restaurants like ramen restaurants and izakaya gastropubs do not allow reservations ahead of time.
What is the average cost of a meal at restaurants in Japan?
This depends on the type of restaurant but on average a meal at restaurants in Japan will cost somewhere between 800 yen and 3000 yen for one dish or set meal. More high-class restaurants can start from anywhere between 4000 and 10,000 yen per meal, with more being charged for dinner.
