Experience Details

Venture east for the day on this small-group tour, away from the crowds of tourists, on an adventure along the Moray Firth and into ‘Malt Whisky Country’. Experience the wild beauty and charm of the coast: sea cliffs, wonderful beaches, picturesque fishing villages, and a famous rock formation. Not to mention the chance for an encounter with the area's lively sea birds! Tour a distillery in Scotland’s largest whisky producing region, for a taste of our national drink and to toast our day of new experiences.

After all the fresh air, whisky and wildlife, you will fall in love with this incredible region of the Scottish HIghlands.

Good To Know

  • * To increase the likelihood of wildlife sightings, we will visit Spey Bay and Aberlour instead of RSPB Troup Head Nature Reserve for the remainder of the 2025 season. Spey Bay offers stunning coastal views and the chance to spot wildlife, while Aberlour is a beautiful town in Speyside, known for its local treats and scenic walks.
  • It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
  • Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
  • If downloading an audio guide, remember to bring your headset.

RSPB Troup Head Nature Reserve

In spring and summer, tens of thousands of seabirds return to the cliffs of Troup Head to nest in burrows or crevices. If you're lucky you might even spot puffins!
