Experience Details

Enjoy this daytrip around the peruvian coast, it is a long (1900 mi) and narrow strip parallel to the Pacific Ocean, characterized by a flat and low-altitude geography. The landscape is very arid, interrupted by 53 rivers that come from the Andean zone and that form the fertile coastal valleys, also has a very rich history because of the remains of some of the pre-columbian civilizations.

Let's explore the Islands in Paracas and enjoy the Huacachina Oasis with the buddy ride in the sand dunes.

Paracas

Vehicle ride from Lima to Paracas (3.5 Hours). One stop on the way for using restrooms. Paracas is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Peru, its beach is shaped like a bay, with an average temperature of 22° and low rainfall. The activities in Paracas range from observing the different ecosystems, the archaeological remains of the Paracas culture, the place where San Martin disembarked and the great diversity of marine fauna in the area.

Islas Ballestas

Guided tour with certified guide by motorboat to the Ballestas Islands, which are home to a diverse marine fauna: sea lions, Humboldt penguins and birds. You will also see the famous "Candelabro", a mysterious geoglyph almost 2 thousand years old.

CULTURPISCO

Ride from Paracas to Ica City, winery visit and Pisco tasting. Tasting of Peru's flagship drink, the famous "Pisco", a brandy obtained from the distillation of green or purple grapes, it has at least 42° of alcohol and it was precisely in the province and port of Pisco where this popular drink began.

Laguna De Huacachina

Visit to the Huacachina Lagoon known as the "Oasis of America". The lagoon is a representative sample of the special ecosystem of the Pacific desert ecoregion and life zone of the subtropical dry desert. Its name comes from the Quechua word "huaccac china" which means "woman's cry". Tour in a buggy through the dunes of the desert of Ica, it is like a roller coaster in the desert.
