I really enjoyed the sushi making class at Joy Asakusa - the venue, produce and the overall quality of the experience is absolutely top notch and worth the money if you are visiting Japan. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting. The Chef and his assistant walked us thorugh the entire process of sushi making from the available ingredients and offered hands-on help constantly. We have watched multiple instruction videos over a massive immersive screen. We got to make 12 pieces of sushi using different types of fish and seafood. A vegetarian option is available too. The best part was definitely getting to enjoy the sushi we made together at the end of the class. During and after the class we were offered tea, water and an a sake tasting set :) If you're looking to learn a new skill in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere, I highly recommend this sushi-making class. It’s an experience I’ll remember for a long time!

A combination of history, great company and delicious food! Both the chef and the staff were amazing in their hospitality making us feel like the most welcomed guests. The setting as well was very well throughout creating a nice feeling of privacy and warmness that is a nice contrast with the busy and cold weather outside. 100% Recommended!
