Take part in a cooking class, enjoy a delicious meal and taste craft beer at a local brewery on San Carlos de Bariloche! If you are a food lover this tour is for you: You will participate in an interesting cooking class where you will be able to experience the mixture of cultures through the food! And then, our favourite part: Enjoy all we have cooked, accompanied by a delicious beer tasting! Plus, you will learn about the history of the area and take in some beautiful panoramic views: Cerro Campanario and Llao Llao Peninsula, Lake Moreno and Nahuel Huapi, and Capilla and Lopez hills. You can't miss this trip!

Good To Know

  • Pick-up times are seasonal and subject to the brewery’s availability. During summer, pick-up is usually in the afternoon and during winter it is usually in the morning
  • Celiac, vegan, vegetarian and lactose-free food options available upon previous request. Please advise any specific dietary restrictions at time of booking
  • IMPORTANT: Passport name, number, date of birth and nationality information must be provided at the time of booking for all participants
  • Service animals allowed with prior notice. Please let us know by using the ‘Special Requirements’ box while booking
  • This is a private excursion, but please note that there may be other guests at the brewery
  • Portuguese-speaking guide available when requested in advance, subject to availability

What You’ll Experience

San Carlos de Bariloche (Pass By)

At the appropriate time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Bariloche to go on a private tour through some of the featured highlights of Bariloche and to enjoy a cooking class at a local brewery. On the way, your guide will explain how this little mountain village has changed into one of the most attractive cities in Patagonia.

Parque Municipal Llao Llao

While visiting the most important viewpoints of the area such as Campanario Hill and Llao-Llao Peninsula, you will enjoy amazing views of Moreno and Nahuel Huapi Lakes and the mountains Capilla and Lopez. You will also take an easy short walk at the Llao LLao Park to experience the native forest and take in some stunning lake and mountain views.

Cerveceria Gilbert Bariloche

Afterwards, we will get ready to visit Gilbert ́s Brewery where you will take part in a cooking class to learn about some local recipes and will then take some time to enjoy an incredible lunch or dinner (depending on the season) with all what we have cooked. Our cuisine is the result of the influence of different cultures and that's why it's so delicious! On this experience, you will also enjoy a beer tasting.

Pick-up from hotels located in San Carlos de Bariloche is included. From Mid-March to Mid-December pick-up is usually at 8:30 a.m. and from Mid-December to Mid-March pick-up is usually at 3:00 p.m. If your hotel is NOT listed, please provide your hotel name when booking in the 'Special Requirements' box. If you are staying at an Airbnb/ bungalow, please let us know the exact address in the ‘Special Requirements’ box. You MUST also provide a personal phone number so that we can reach you if needed. Please note that pick-up from hotels located outside the urban radius has an additional cost.
