Chef Oono is an extremely kind and great instructor. We have previous experience in making sushi but learned some techniques we had not known so far. After making sushi was done, we got to eat our creation, plus a generous addition of miso soup, tempura and hot green tea. What a nice experience!

It was truly the best experience I've had in Japan. The cooking course of Katsu curry (pork cutlet curry) was very fun and delicious. It included Japanese-style curry made with dashi soup, along with tonkatsu (pork cutlet), ebi fry (fried shrimp), and potatoes. I also learned how to cook rice in a regular pot, so I plan to buy some Japanese curry roux and try making it after returning home. Ms. Morimi was very friendly, and the lesson was enjoyable. She also shared a lot about Japanese food and culture, as well as recommendations for food and sightseeing spots. There were also lessons available for sushi and tofu dishes, so I would love to try those next time I visit in Japan. I heard that there are also menus available for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free diets. On the way back, I visited Goutoku-ji, a temple famous for its lucky cat (maneki-neko), which was also a fun experience.

I gained so much knowledge from this experience, not only about Ramen, but also in cooking in general, as well as a bunch of "usuals" that Japanese people use in cooking/eating (e.g. dark soy sauce = normal soy sauce). The hosts are great! One is teaching us about noodles, one is teaching us about making the ramens and their toppings. They are both wonderful and lovely. They gave us a lot of information about each step and had a lot of enthusiasm while doing so. They were also capturing pictures for us while making the ramen and the noodles which I'm very thankful for. They sent us those pictures after the class via Google Drive. The ramen that we made was so delicious. I loved the Miso Ramen. The pork topping that we made was something I'm craving for after that class. Great stuff! I 100% recommend this experience!

It was a very history-filled experience. They taught us a bit of the history of sushi specifically Nigiri Sushi. It enlightened us a lot about sushi in general too! The chef is very knowledgeable and skilled. Alongside the interpreter and another assistant, they taught us carefully and enthusiastically. I recommend this to sushi lovers!
