What You’ll Experience

Time to start: 14:00 Tofu, a versatile and nutritious protein source, is a staple ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine. Learning to make tofu from scratch not only enhances your culinary skills but also provides a deeper understanding of the cultural significance of this beloved food. The course begins with an introduction to the history of tofu in Vietnam and its role in local diets, followed by a hands-on demonstration of the entire tofu-making process. Under the expert guidance of our local chef, participants will begin by selecting high-quality soybeans, understanding their selection's impact on the final product. The process will include soaking and grinding the soybeans, cooking the mixture, and expertly curdling it with a coagulant. You'll learn to recognize the textures and consistencies that yield the best results, ultimately resulting in fresh, handmade tofu. Then we will make a dish for dinner from hademade Tofu such as Fried Tofu w/ Tomato Sauce with dessert is Soy Milk
