Fun activity and value for money. Host was lovely, guided us how to make and helped us take pictures and videos of us making the Taiyaki. As we only eat halal, we could only make matcha and red bean Taiyaki - which were plant based.
Highly recommend this activity for anyone looking for a fun activity to do in Asakusa!

Value for money and lovely experience! We managed to experience making different types of wagashi as well as experience making and drinking matcha while having our Wagashi! This workshop is muslim friendly as they do not contain animal based or alcoholic ingredients. Recommended. Thank you for a lovely experience!

If you are looking for an authentic ramen making experience that caters to a vegan diet, look no further. I've been to many vegan cooking classes in the US for american dishes and wanted have a true ramen making experience in the heart of it all. Kaori delivered; 15/10 experience!
Kaori is an exceptional host, chef, and great person. She was able to provide an experience through the market identifying the ingredients for the ramen and gyoza, open her home to create an exceptional meal, and provided translations to common phrases you need to get around Japan. In addition, she even gave recommendations to local restaurants and shops.
My husband and I had such an amazing time making ramen and gyoza and were too full after 😅 it was a highlight of our first trip to Japan. Definitely would recommend to everyone to book this experience before you spend time at any other tourist attraction. This experience beats any view you pay for in the city.

I had such a wonderful time joining the Kichi Kichi Omurice Experience. It was really special to learn directly from such an iconic omurice chef in person and the experience was both fun and educational. He was very friendly, entertaining, and knowledgeable, so the whole atmosphere felt warm and memorable.I also felt like I learned useful tips that I could actually try again at home. When I made omurice afterwards, my omelette already turned out better than before! The T-shirt was also a lovely souvenir and made the experience feel even more special.
Overall, I think it’s a very unique and memorable experience for anyone who loves Japanese food and wants to learn more than just the basic recipe. It was fun, personal, and something I’ll definitely remember.

When talking about omurice, it's always easy to think of kichikichi, especially when researching Japanese foods that you have to try when traveling to Japan.
Being able to practice and learn from the master of omurice is a tremendous and rewarding honor. We had a very detailed explanation of everything beforehand, but making our own omurice was a very fun and a unique experience.
If you're thinking of doing it, I would definitely do it again because it was worth every memory.

I had such a lovely time at this onigiri-making class with my friends! The sweetest grandma taught us how to make onigiri and shared so many helpful tips and little tricks along the way. It was such a fun and heartwarming experience, and we got to enjoy making something delicious together.
I would especially recommend this experience for families and children it’s a wonderful way to spend quality time together while learning about Japanese food and culture. A fun, hands-on activity for all ages! 🍙💕
