Our family, of four, all thoroughly enjoyed our food tour with Kato and Shoma. The range of food was exceptional and plentiful. Their knowledge was insightful and informative. We only wish we had done the tour earlier in our trip so we better understood the different Japanese food earlier. They went above and beyond to help us with personal interests stops along the way.

The sushi chef was most accommodating. It is a simple space in a restaurant alley neighborhood, the sushi was very fresh and we learned many tricks. We had not made our own sushi before. We were pleasantly surprised that with the step by step instructions our preparation looked and tasted delicious. It was a great experience and the chef was very kind❣️Toronto, Canada

I try to go on a food tour in every new country I travel to and our tour with Shoko was one of my favorites. Shoko did a great job communicating before hand (and also following up to send up more recommendations for our trip!) The food we had was absolutely delicious and a great value. Our guide did a great explaining and answering all of our questions. She was so fun, kind, warm, and it really was a joy to spend our first evening in Japan with her, she made our trip!
