We had an amazing experience! Miss Maki and Miss Suzu met us at the station and guided us to the workshop. It was so much fun chatting with them. Thanks to Miss Maki’s guidance and Miss Suzu’s translation, even complete beginners like us were able to successfully make traditional Japanese sweets. We are so grateful that we were able to have this experience.

This was a true hi-light of our trip. Yoko was both kind and welcoming to our party. She went out of her way to accommodate us even though I got the time wrong. So appreciated the menu, which took into account our vegetarian guest. We were truly delighted with the class and our experience. I highly recommend the class. Thank you, Yoko

This was a wonderful experience with Yoko, she was very welcoming and organised it allowed us to feel very comfortable as soon as we walked in! Yoko instructed us well in how to cook a variety of dishes for a bento box. The demonstrations were very helpful allowing us to try it ourselves and learn how it is done. I am very glad I chose Yoko's cooking class, it was a beautiful area and we got to enjoy eating our lovely bento boxes overlooking the shore.

Thank you Manami, you are so warm, kind, and funny! Manami was so welcoming, she invited us into her place as friends, not just as a customer. She and her husband made an effort to make us feel at home throughout the whole experience. The sushi making was so cool and actually it tasted so good, much better than I had expected it to be. Also, the Kimonos we got to try were so beautiful, I am glad that I finally got to try it. I will definitely come back again next year!

Manami was so friendly! She was so accomodating - when we wore the kimonos (really beautiful ones) she helped us take heaps of photos, more than enough! I loved making the sushi, it was my favorite part - Manami saw that I was getting nervous but she encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, it was great. Manami was open to any feed back and also told me to keep eating to my heart's content!

I would highly recommend this class, it was a great experience. We had fun dressing up in kimonos, children included. We learned how to make real sushi and enjoyed an incredible sushi meal at the end. Don't miss it, it was an experience of a lifetime.

Cool experience making your own food. Manami the host was really nice. Definitely worth the trip if you are in Hakone or Odawara as it is only a 10 minute ride to get there.
