This was fantastic! Both the Gyoza Dumplings and the Ramen were fantastic, and I feel like I have a great understanding now of how to approach making ramen broth now (specifically Shoyu ramen)

This was one of the best things we got to in Japan. Was a big learning experience on what made a lot of common ingredients unsuitable for Muslims and we were shown the halal labels for all the foods we did use. It was a lot of fun and we've taken the recipes home to try and remake them. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Japan!!

My sisters and myself had a wonderful time at the Tokyo Ramen-Making Masterclass with Amo and Yoshi. The host clearly exceeded our expectations as we learned to prepare a complete ramen meal with gyozas from the scratch. Our experience started as Amo met us at the meeting point at Ekoda Station (we recommend contacting them directly on WhatsApp to ease everything). We then walked (10 minutes) to their flat where everything was prepared. Amo and Yoshi introduced themselves and offered us a welcome drink. We then started right away cutting vegetables, preparing the noodles and gyozas from the scratch with all the necessary and interesting explanations. After having successfully prepared all the ingredients, each one of us was able to put together their own Ramen Bowl. We then had a moment for ourselves to enjoy the excellent meal while our host cleaned the kitchen. During the whole experience Amo and Yoshi were extremely friendly and thoughtful. We would like to thank them one more time for the amazing experience which we definitely recommend to anybody who spends a few days in Tokyo. Mike

Yoshi and Amo provided the best experience we could have hoped for. We were met at the train station by Amo who guided us to their cute kitchen which was very modern, homely and comfortable. They provided us with many drink options upon arrival, we picked the sparkling water and it was very refreshing. They had cute aprons for us to wear and we chopped our ingredients, boiled our eggs, made gyoza and then had an egg shell peeling competition which was super fun. Chef Yoshi was very easy to follow and Amo was great for helping with the gyoza. We then got to experience making noodles from scratch and then cutting them to size which was cool to see. Cooking the noodles and preparing the ramen was so much fun too. Most important, it was easily the best ramen we've had, the broth was smoky with a strong flavour that we couldn't get enough of. And the gyoza was a great side dish to have too. Yoshi and Amo were so lovely, welcoming and hospitable. This class is a must for anyone in Tokyo who loves ramen and gyoza and wants to learn the secrets behind the trade. You are guaranteed to have a great time! Yoshi and Amo both speak excellent English too so there was absolutely no language barrier. Thankyou for such a great experience!

I love Ramen and I loved learning how to make Ramen from our professional hosts. Today, I had a great experience spending time with our firendly hosts and other participants. I had only one day to explore Tokyo, and initially wasn’t sure if attending the class is the best decision or not. Now, I cannot think of any better way of spending my time in Tokyo. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn more about Ramen and Japanese cooking culture.
