We were so warmly welcomed by Midori, it was truly an amazing experience! Not only did she teach us how to cook some staple Japanese dishes (which were delicious), but she also gave us some really good tips for our trip based on our interests. We definitely recommend this cooking workshop to everyone, it's just so much fun and we really learned a lot. The lovely host Midori made this an experience we will never forget!

We had the most wonderful time with Aki in her home cooking several Japanese dishes and also learned the art of cooking miso soup from scratch. We were involved in the preparation and cooking of each of the four dishes which were all delicious. Authentic Japanese cooking experience great value, Aki is a wonderful host and highly recommend this experience in her home and easy to get to on public transport from centre of Kyoto.

Lot’s of fun, and the food was tasty. Nariko’s class was well organized (7 people in the class). I may never become a professional dumpling maker, but I’m going to give it a try when I get home.
