As three avid cooks from Australia, we all loved this experience! Emi was a wonderful host, very gracious in bringing us into her home and looking after us. She was a good teacher, but also a lovely woman to chat with about various things around Japan. While we all had attempted the foods before, it was really fun to learn a few traditional methods. Emi also gave great tips and tricks for each thing we made that you wouldn't really get anywhere else! I certainly think my next batch of Tempura or Gyoza will be better off after this class, and I'll definitely be trying to method she taught us for noodle dough (no spoilers, but very fun!). I think people of any cooking skill would get something out of this class, highly recommended!

The ramen-making workshop in Osaka was a unique and enjoyable experience. Our host, Ms. Fumi, was not only a skilled chef but also a warm funny and welcoming host. We learned about the process of making the broth and noodles. Ms. Fumi was always on hand to offer guidance and answer questions. The final result were 3 delicious bowls of ramen that we were proud to have made ourselves. We highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking for a fun and educational experience in Osaka.

My favorite part of my entire Japan trip! My friends and I decided to splurge with this experience and it did not disappoint. Our chef was great, spoke a decent amount of English, and of course prepared the best sushi I have ever tried. The service within all employees was also on par. We got our experience to include sake and tried around 4 to 5 different sakes. They keep refilling your drink so in total we had about 10 glasses of sake. I recommend this no matter what.

Yosuke provided a great in depth look at the various teas produced in Japan and brewed samples on the spot for us to try. It was really great to taste the impact that different production methods have on the humble tea leaf and it is an experience we would happily recommend for those interested in Japanese tea. Special thanks to Yosuke as well because I incorrectly wrote down the wrong time in my diary and we made it an hour late to our appointment but he was happy to stay and take us through the experience anyway which he definitely didn't need to do!
