Restaurant Details
The owner chef of this French restaurant in Tokyo is a native of Bordeaux, France. Olivier Oddos opened his self-titled restaurant in 2009, quickly winning acclaim among local gourmet Francophiles and recognition in the Michelin Guide.
His Japanese journey goes back further than that, to when he was a cooking instructor at the illustrious culinary school Le Cordon Bleu’s Tokyo branch. Nowadays he still works his magic in the kitchen, but also tends to aspects of hospitality, offering up his wine knowledge to his guests.
The dishes make use of both French and Japanese ingredients to express an ethos of cultural interchange and harmony. Japan is represented primarily through excellent seafood and organic vegetables from around the country.
The menu draws upon the rich stock of French dishes, including mouthwatering desserts with rich chocolate and fruits. Every element is cooked fresh and from scratch, with the finishing touches exhibiting French gastronomy’s flare for presentation.
