We had a lovely experience making Mochi with Sakura while in Tokyo. We were a group of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids ranging from 8-12 years old). Everything was well organized and planned. It was great learning about all the different types of mochi for different holidays and their cultural significance. Kids loved the experience of making something and then eating it. Sakura was very sweet with all the kids and it was lovely to be invited into her home. I would highly recommend this experience.

Simply fantastic! Yuko is a highly skilled person with the utmost pedagogy. She is very nice, and so is her family. I had a terrific time, learned a lot, could ask many questions, and ended up with a bunch of delicious wagashi :) Highly recommend!

The host was really welcoming and kind. It was well thought out, and you got tips and tricks for making it at home. A nice experience where you learn about mochi and Japanese culture. I definately recommend if you are looking for a traditional and easy cooking class.
