Ever wondered how Japan’s fermented foods help people live healthier? The keys are in amazake (literally "sweet sake") and sake kasu (sake lees)! Join us for a cozy, hands-on class, where you’ll learn to make sweet, healthy desserts using these powerful ingredients that are as delicious as they are good for your gut.

In this intimate class (just 6 people max!), you’ll get the full foodie experience with Naoko, our certified fermented food expert. With a globe-trotting background, Naoko will guide you through easy recipes while sharing the cultural and health benefits associated with them. Think of it as food, fun and wellness all in one!

You’ll make desserts with amazake, a naturally sweet fermented rice paste without sugar, and sakekasu, the nutritious byproduct of sake brewing. These treats are packed with gut-loving benefits, including improved digestion and clearer skin. We also use other products full of beauty and health-boosting ingredients!

Also, enjoy a soothing sake kasu hand mask trial. Enjoy the Japanese beauty afternoon tea!

The class is only 1.5 hours long, making it perfect for busy schedules. This is your chance to dive into Japan’s culinary magic, learn new skills, and experience the wonders of Japanese fermented foods in the most delicious way possible.

Fermented foods are so specialized that very few classes exist, making this a one-of-a-kind experience. Learn deliciously and glow beautifully!
