We had such a fantastic time at the Ramen Sample Making Workshop. We learned a little bit about the history of fake food and then spent about an hour creating our masterpieces. We didn't speak much Japanese, but it still was great fun and the instructions were easy to follow. Highly recommend!

Brilliant, engaging and delicious class led by knowledgeable chefs! Takes place in a lovely, small setting. Described by the chefs as “more like work experience” they were true to their word - you were put to work straight away, feeling fully immersed in the experience and loving every minute. Sitting down to our meal at the end felt well and truly deserved. Highly recommend!

Our mochi making class exceeded our expectations! Satoko was so patient with us and our young children. Learning about the history of mochi was such a unique touch to the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed all the mochi we made -- we even had plenty to snack on later! We are already looking forward to making mochi now that we're home :)
