Restaurants in Japan

Intimate atmosphere with friendly staff and amazing food. You can tell the food is carefully prepared and you will stay wanting to order one of everything. Great experience!

Food was great! We really enjoyed the seasonal dishes, reasonable pricing, and prompt, friendly service. Would totally go again!

Amazing and surprising

This was the highlight of our trip to Kanazawa. The food was excellent in taste and so beautifully presented it seemed like art. The atmosphere was amazing -- a Japanese wooden house set in a beautiful garden with windows all around. And the service was great, friendly and attentive. This was a definite winner. Do this!

Hokkaido is famous of its top notch seafood quality and Sushi Sublime delivered it very well. Super satisfied!

Our dinner was one of the finest, most creative meal we’ve had since arriving in Japan. Wish we were staying longer so we could come back and try other dishes.

The sushi was exceptional, with fresh, high-quality fish sourced from different regions of Japan. Every piece was carefully prepared, highlighting the fish’s natural umami and unique texture. The homemade pickled ginger was delicious, egg custard with crab was magnificent and the service was impeccable, with friendly staff who explained each dish. The peaceful atmosphere and traditional Japanese tea room made the entire experience truly special along with homemade delicious mochis. Highly recommended for an authentic omakase experience in Tokyo!

Excellent cuisine. Chef was very hospitable and knowledgeable. Enjoyed our meal.

Lovely, intimate sushi spot where I had dinner on my second night in Kyoto. The courses were delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was so kind. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories that I will take back to NYC 🩷
