A challenge for even the biggest of appetites, this Kobe yakitori store serves up a seemingly endless series of delicious chicken dishes until you simply can't eat anymore. As one of the most famous yakitori stores in Kansai, and one of the highest rated of its kind in Kobe, the 15-seat counter here is rarely empty.
Pull up a seat next to the dedicated regulars and be treated to a plethora of chicken cuts on skewers, as well as some small dishes like ramen and oyakodon: a rice bowl with chicken and egg (somewhat sardonically translating to “parent and child rice bowl”). The higher price point of a dinner at Kasahara represents the quality, and the fact that you’ll be served to your heart’s content, meaning that it’s actually a very good value deal.
