We will explore Lugano as a living story shaped over centuries by culture, history, & human connection. From its ancient Roman origins and medieval heritage, trade routes to its present-day identity as a financial center.


Walking at a relaxed pace, we'll visit iconic landmarks, hidden corners, and charming streets. I will share engaging stories that connect different periods of history with the present, offering insight into how Swiss, Italian, and European influences have shaped life in Ticino.


As a delicious highlight, you'll also enjoy a Swiss chocolate tasting, included in the tour price. Discover the rich heritage behind Switzerland's world-famous chocolate while sampling some of its most beloved flavors.

Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli – Lugano's Renaissance Gem: a must-see for anyone interested in history, art, and architecture. It is famous for its massive frescoed wall the masterpiece fresco of the Passion and Crucifixion of Christ (1529–1532) by Bernardino Luini, a disciple of Leonardo da Vinci and a master of the Lombard Renaissance.

Piazza San Rocco

A quiet, charming square nestled in the heart of Lugano, Piazza San Rocco is home to the beautiful Church of San Rocco, built in the late 1500s after a vow during the plague. The church features impressive Baroque frescoes, a 17th-century altar, and a historic organ. And there are beautiful 17th-century frescoes by the Valsolda Pozzi brothers depict St Roch’s life, along with scenes of Christ in Glory and the Nativity cycle in the dedicated chapel .
