On this small group tour, we'll pick you up anywhere in Wanaka at your preferred time. We've created this trip due to high demand for an easy e-bike ride with a focus on wine and food. After a quick 20-minute orientation on the e-bike, you're ready to roll. We've got your back with first aid kits, maps, and a spare bike. While it's not guided, we're nearby if you need help. Explore food and drink options, enjoy the flat, wide trail – great for beginners. It's a 6-hour trip, with about 2 hours of easy biking. We take care of the driving so you can savor the wine in style. Just a short 35-minute ride from Wanaka takes you to the unique Bannockburn landscape and their superb Pinot Noirs.

Perfect for beginners, this e-biking adventure is the first leg of the famous Lake Dunstan cycleway. Starting at Smiths Way, you'll ride a serene 16-kilometer section along the flat trail to Cromwell's heritage precinct dating back to the gold rush of the 1860’s. Grab a coffee and take a look around before following the Kawarau arm of Lake Dunstan to the Bannockburn bridge an easy 7km ride. Here you meet up with the Dunstan Cycle Trail which winds its way to your first stop the Carrick Winery. From here follow our special marked trail to any of six wineries or dining spots. You can Cruise the Bannockburn Vineyards by e-Bike and sample the distinctive and complex wines this region is producing.
When you've had your fill of enjoyment simply call me, and I'll arrange to pick you up and ensure your safe journey back to your accommodation.

We can not recommend Mark enough. His communication from my enquiry from Auckland to when we arrived in Wānaka was great. He picked us up from our accomodation with all equipment including bikes on his truck. Drove us to the best drop off point where we had a safe and seamless ride (no road, only track) to the most awesome vineyards and breath taking views and scenery. Highly recommended e-bike day out
The e-bike experience was fantastic. Mark is very professional and safety conscious and made sure we all felt comfortable with our bike before setting off, which was terrific as we are inexperienced. His wineries information was unbiased but very helpful and he even took us back to one winery after lunch so we could make a purchase. He stayed in contact with us during the day to make sure we were ok. It was fun and we throughly enjoyed it, hopefully we’ll get back and do his brewery tour one day...read more

A very special day out
This e-bike winery tour was delightful. Mark the tour operator is a wonderfully thoughtful fellow. From the moment he picked us up in the morning to when he said goodbye at the end of the day he had our best interest at heart. He was very thorough with our introduction to e-bikes, provided all the best info for us on the ride and the wineries and kept in touch during the day to make sure we were ok. We had a really wonderful experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Do this while in Wānaka!
We absolutely loved this in Wanaka! Mark picked us up for a beautiful bike ride along Lake Dunstan. He made sure we were comfortable on the bikes before letting us explore the wineries of Bannockburn at our own pace. The Ebikes are great for tackling the wine hills, all the riding is on trails, the recommended vineyards are stunning, and Mark is an organized and friendly host. Great way to spend the day!
