+42 photosEmma was a fantastic guide, and her dog Bella was the perfect co-pilot! We visited boutique wineries that were unique spots when compared to other tours I’d looked at. As a result, we got to visit wonderful, quiet wineries with stunning views. Lunch was fantastic as well. Overall, we felt we got a comprehensive, highly interactive trip through some of New Zealand’s beautiful Pinot Noir region.
We had an absolutely fantastic day with Alpine Wine Tours! Emma was an amazing tour guide so friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating. She even went out of her way and was able to accomodate picking us up from our Airbnb in Arrowtown, which was such a thoughtful touch. We did the Queenstown wine tour and visited three beautiful wineries. Wow! Travelling through the gorge and experiencing the wineries further out from Gibson Valley was amazing. It’s gives you a touch of New Zealand’s wine country that so many people are yet to discover. Seeing the Gibson valley wine cave was a nice touch to finished the day. We were lucky to travel along side Bella the wine dog. All 3 wineries were just great 10/10 experience.
It’s fantastic to hear that venturing further into Central Otago wine country was such a highlight of the day, Dominique! Travelling through the spectacular Kawarau Gorge and beyond the usual Gibbston Valley wine route into Bannockburn is exactly what we wanted guests to experience when we designed this tour — discovering another side of our wine region that many Queenstown visitors never get to see. Then, finishing back in Gibbston Valley with the iconic wine cave makes for a pretty special end to the journey.
