"Come into a local home and discover two of Türkiye’s most beloved rituals; cooking dessert and sipping coffee, the slow, sweet way. We’ll start by preparing künefe, the famous crispy cheese dessert made with shredded pastry, regional butter, and homemade syrup. You’ll learn how to layer it, cook it over a flame, and flip it golden, just like it’s done in traditional kitchens. While the künefe cooks, we’ll move to the stove to brew Turkish coffee the old-fashioned way; slow, frothy, and filled with meaning. You’ll hear about its role in Turkish culture and maybe even try your hand at making a cup. Finally, we’ll gather at the table to enjoy both, warm dessert, rich coffee, and easy conversation. It’s a sweet, sensory experience that invites you into real local life."
